Consultations are used by developers, landowners and planning agents working on strategic sites or major development areas, and by local planning authorities where a programme needs a fresh perspective. They are also used by planning agents and consultants who want to test their read of an emerging plan against independent analysis.
Typical topics include the strategic fit of a site within an emerging Local Plan, how the spatial strategy is likely to develop, evidence that appears to point in different directions, and how to approach difficult plan making conversations. Consultations are held online and last 90 minutes.
